The awards may be given by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, but it was model Kelleth Cuthbert, dubbed “Fiji Water Girl”, who won the people’s hearts.
Last night’s Golden Globes produced an unlikely hero.
Wearing a deep blue evening dress, the initially unidentified woman managed to make herself known to the paparazzi at Sunday’s award ceremony by photobombing almost every red carpet shot — appearing behind just about everyone from Nicole Kidman and Jamie Lee Curtis to Idris Elba and Richard Madden.
Somehow, the Fiji Water girl managed to inch her way into star-filled red carpet pictures, and into everyone’s social media feeds.

In a handful of shots, the woman is staring directly at the camera and appears to be posing, leading some online to question whether she was intentionally photobombing Hollywood’s big names or if she was simply manning a post assigned by the show’s organizers.

The viral sensation has since been identified as Los Angeles-based model Kelleth Cuthbert.
With one shot showing Kelleth working the camera behind Idris, another social media user remarked: “This Fiji Water lady is stronger than all of us, because she has the willpower not to look directly at Idris Elba.”
