2018 has been rough, and there’s probably plenty that’s happened in the last 12 months that you may not want to dwell on. Spotify Wrapped 2018 is coming. Still, it’s good to take a minute to reflect on how you spent your time, or, at the very least, how much of your time you spent listening to Drake.
If you’re like me, you spend hours upon hours listening to Spotify each and every single week. Sure, there are competitors out there from the likes of Apple and Google, but Spotify seems to have simply nailed the overall user experience in a way that others still haven’t been able to match.
I don’t know about you guys, but I personally listened to 79780 minutes of music in 2018 (I love you Spotify). Yep, you read that right – that’s 55 days if I’m doing the math correctly. Wow.
Spotify also has a “Tastebreakers” playlist to accompany the Wrapped one. Tastebreakers includes 50 songs that Spotify thinks you’ll like from genres and artists you don’t normally listen to.
To find those two playlists in the desktop or mobile apps, simply go to the “For You” section, where both will be readily available.

Users were excited to find out who their top artists were for the year and their most listened to songs. Some of them were making guesses about how their listening data might have changed from the year before while others were predicting what their top songs and albums would be.
Thanks to our ability to constantly listen to Spotify at work, many of us racked up a massive number of time listening to music this year.
